Agri-Kapihan at CLSU

An Agri-Kapihan will be held at the CLSU-Dizon Techno Demo Farm at the Central Luzon State University in Muñoz, Nueva Ecija in the afternoon of Tuesday, June 27 and in the morning of Jun 28.

During the Agri-Kapihan, Bernie Dizon will demonstrate how to topwork an undesirable mango tree with scions of desired varieties. For example, he will show how he topworked an old-Indian mango with Millennium mango.

He will also demonstrate the simple method of producing planting materials with double rootstock such as rambutan, mango or longkong.

Other things that could be observed at the techno demo farm are the profusely fruiting Magallanes pummelo. This is a first class variety with clustering fruit habit. The fruit is seedless, pink and juicy.

The Agri-Kapihan is open for free to the public. For those who cannot make it to CLSU, Dizon can be consulted for free at the Magallanes Weekend Market in Makati, Edsa corner South Luzon Expressway, every Saturday and Sunday.
