DIZON EXOTIC FRUIT TREES

PINK DISEASE OF DURIAN. A fungal disease called Pink Disease can cause death of durian trees if not controlled. Symptom is cracking of bark of trunk or stem. Control is done by painting the affected area (being pointed in photo) with copper fungicide. Copper fungicides come in different brands like Vitigran Blue, Kocide, Cupravit, etc. Properly treated trees will heal in a matter of months.
