Youthful Mango Grower

YOUTHFUL MANGO GROWER. Arnold Aguilar is a youthful mango grower who planted some 100 mangoes with double rootstock in his farm in Palayan City, Nueva Ecija. Since the soil in his farm is poor (clayey), he followed the advice of Bernie Dizon. He dug planting holes of two cubic feet and used a mixture of topsoil, rice hull and old manure to fill up the planting holes. The trees are now growing very well. Although they are only two years old, they have started bearing fruits without inducing them with chemicals.
